Balancing the Water element to dare move forward @Tokyo

This is a Cosmic Sole Tokyo's original session featuring Kidney meridian and Bladder meridian of "Water" element in the theory of Five elements.

<What does "Water" element stand for?>

Water element symbolizes something abyssal, such as strong emotions from deep within, the unconscious and the subconscious, the mystery of life and death, and ancestors. Every water has a flow, as in the flow of bodily fluids, the flow of nerves, and the flow of qi energy, and is essential for living. Life itself has a flow, and sometimes it is necessary to go with the flow.

The corresponding season is winter, symbolizing healing, rest, and preparation for the coming spring that is new beginning.

Kidneys are located in the posterior part of the body and generate vitality for life. The bladder meridian runs along the sides of the spine. "Water" element is therefore directly linked to the life and is associated with strong will, courage and power.

It is also by water element that conception occurs with the will to manifest. The fetus grows in the water in the womb and is born into the world.

When there is lack of water element, that is, when the flow in the body or in life is stagnant, we are stuck with fear and unable to move forward.

The corresponding body parts are bones, teeth and nails.

In the concept of Metamorphic Technique®, the hard tissues such as bones forming the body, are believed to be where energy flows and the soul resides. On the other hand, body fluids are associated with emotions and believed to play a role in guiding life in the direction where an uplifting spirit goes.

By balancing the water element, it would be able to turn fear into courage and take a step forward in the direction you want to go.

The kidney meridian runs from the sole of the foot up to the point beneath the clavicle on the center of the body. Its famous acupuncture points are the one named "bubbling spring" on the sole as the starting point, which is said to generate vitality, and the one called "Brain Button” in Brain Gym® beneath the clavicle as the end point, which is said to send oxygen to the brain and activate it.

The trapezius muscle, which is prone to stiffness, corresponds to the kidney meridian and is related to the functions of the eyes and ears. The eyes and the ears function not only to perceive the outside world, but also to envision a future and listen to the inner voice.

The Bladder meridian is a long meridian running from the eyebrow to the back of the head, down the back of the body to the little toe of the foot. In a session of Brain Gym® Creative Vision, the points on the Bladder meridian are touched for realizing what is envisioned. When you have strong fear, it could be difficult to visualize something, and touching these points would be helpful.

<Summary of the session>

The session aims to dynamically balance Kidney and Bladder meridians with a unique combination of various therapeutic modalities.

It begins with the breathing work inspired by yogic technique. You will envision what you want to realize with your third eye, in an environment with a pre-selected pomander and quintessence, and the sound of flowing water.

The lymphatic drainage in the neck follows to regulate the fluid flow and activate the excretion of unwanted substances. Then, the points on the face are touched with stones to enhance the flow on the whole body as if the body were like a waterfall, the idea of which is taken from the Native Indian's traditional therapy called ‘Balancing the Waterfall’.

Followingly from the craniosacral therapy, hands are placed under the sacrum and cranium to regulate the flow of cerebrospinal fluid. In addition, the points corresponding to the auditory or vestibular nerves are touched.

The 'waterfall' flowing from the face eventually flows into the feet. The feet, where the kidney meridian begins and the bladder meridian ends, are stimulated at the end to flush out unwanted substances. In addition, the spinal reflex points, which are exclusively touched in Metamorphic Technique®, are stimulated to regulate the flow of the nerve system, cerebrospinal fluid, and qi energy.

Finally, from the ‘Balancing the Waterfall’ again, the heart is tapped. You will be finally asked to feel in your heart what you want to realize that you envisioned at the beginning of the session.
